  1. This is a great new blog. Congressional hearings are a necessity, although I'm not sure they'll receive the attention they deserve unless victims of shock torture, their families and communities make a scene in society at large.

    So far I've heard of two cases in which an intended shock victim took the police officer's shock device and used it to shock the police officer. I get the impression that members of the public usually only shock the officers once, although officers often shock members of the public until they are dead.

    Here's an example from Billings, Montana of a man who turned the shock device back on the police officer. Like a gun, police officers and society need to understand that there always exist the possibility that these weapons will be used on the police officers who carry them.
